Uluberia, September 10 — Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge of PHE and PWD Department, Shri Pulak Roy, visited the Duare Sarkar and Amader Para Amader Samadhan camp held today at Bahira High School under Uluberia-I Block. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents and public representatives.
Among the dignitaries present were Block Development Officer of Uluberia-I, H M Riajul Hoque, Sabhapati of the Panchayat Samiti, Shri Atindra Sekhar Pramanik, Krishi Karmadhyaksha Shri Murad Ali, and Prodhan of Bahira Gram Panchayat, Smt. Kabita Her.
At the camp, residents from three polling booths submitted proposals for developmental schemes under the Amader Para Amader Samadhan initiative. As per the scheme guidelines, a maximum of ₹10 lakh can be allocated per booth for addressing local needs.
The majority of the proposals placed by the villagers included construction and repair of rural roads, drainage systems, ICDS and school building repairs, and boundary walls for Eidgah grounds. Local people expressed their appreciation for the scheme, highlighting how it empowers communities to directly raise their demands and ensures grassroots-level planning.
Speaking on the occasion, Hon’ble Minister Pulak Roy emphasized the importance of the Amader Para Amader Samadhan project in bridging the gap between governance and the common people. He assured that all feasible proposals would be considered seriously for early implementation.
The camp ended on a positive note with a sense of optimism among the people, who lauded the government’s efforts to bring decision-making closer to the community.
