Joint Inspection Conducted by BDO H.M.Riajul Hoque and IC Sanjay Kr Dey at Uluberia -I Block

Uluberia, Howrah:

A joint super checking of the Banglar Bari (Grameen) scheme was conducted at Maheshpur Gram Panchayat under Uluberia-I Development Block to ensure transparency and proper implementation of the government’s flagship rural housing initiative.

The inspection was jointly led by H. M. Riajul Hoque, WBCS (Exe), Block Development Officer, Uluberia-I, and Sanjay Kumar Dey, Inspector-in-Charge, Uluberia Police Station.

During the inspection, both officials visited multiple beneficiary sites to assess the progress of house construction, interacted with beneficiaries, and reviewed the quality and compliance of works as per the Banglar Bari guidelines.

Speaking on the occasion, BDO H. M. Riajul Hoque stated, “The Banglar Bari (Grameen) scheme reflects the State Government’s commitment to ensuring every rural family has a secure and dignified shelter. Today’s inspection aims to ensure that the benefits reach genuine beneficiaries in a transparent manner.”

Inspector-in-Charge Sanjay Kumar Dey added, “We are working in close coordination with the Block Administration to ensure fairness and accountability in the entire process.”

The Banglar Bari (Grameen) scheme is a fully state-funded initiative under which each beneficiary receives ₹1.20 lakh in two installments for constructing a permanent dwelling unit. The Uluberia-I Block Administration has been actively monitoring progress across all Gram Panchayats to ensure timely and quality completion of houses.
