đž Seed Distribution to Farmers under NFSNM Scheme at Bahira Gram Panchayat
Under the National Food Security Mission on Nutri Cereals (NFSNM) scheme, the Block Administration of Uluberia-I has taken a proactive step to support farmers affected by the recent natural calamity.
Due to excessive rainfall during July, several cultivators in the Bahira Gram Panchayat faced difficulties in crop production. To assist them and promote early Rabi cultivation, Khesari and Mustard seeds were distributed among the affected farmers.

Speaking on the occasion, BDO H. M. Riajul Hoque stated that the initiative aims to help farmers recover from the impact of excessive rainfall and ensure timely agricultural production under the NFSNM programme.
Smt. Mitali Kundu, ADA, Uluberia-I Block, mentioned,
> âTimely distribution of quality seeds like Khesari and Mustard will encourage early Rabi cultivation and help farmers make up for the loss caused by the heavy rains. Agriculture Department is committed to extending full technical and field support to ensure successful yields.â
Sri Morad Ali, Krishi Karmadhyaksha, Uluberia-I Panchayat Samiti, added,
