Live Telecast of Jagannath Mandir Inauguration Arranged at Uluberia-I Block
Today, from 2 PM onwards, the live telecast of the grand inauguration of the Jagannath Mandir in Puri was shown at Kulgachia, under Chandipur Gram Panchayat of Uluberia-I Block, Howrah. The initiative to set up a giant LED screen for public viewing was taken by the Block Development Officer of Uluberia-I Block, H. M. Riajul Hoque, with the aim of enabling the local community to witness the historic and spiritual occasion.
The program saw the gracious presence of several dignitaries, including Atindra Sekhar Pramanik, Sabhapati of Uluberia-I Panchayat Samity; Azizul Islam Mollah, Purta Karmadhyakshya; and Rejaul Islam Mollah, Upa-Pradhan of Chandipur Gram Panchayat. A large number of villagers gathered at the venue to take part in the collective viewing, which was marked by a spirit of devotion and celebration.
This public arrangement reflects the efforts of the district administration to connect rural communities with significant national cultural and religious events, fostering a sense of unity and spiritual involvement.
