Today, H M RIAJUL HOQUE, the Block Development Officer (BDO) for Uluberia -I Block, conducted an inspection at the Block hospital located in Chandipur Gram Panchayat. During the visit, he observed that the living quarters for hospital staff are in a state of disrepair and urgently require attention. The BDO recognized the critical need for these repairs and assured that a formal proposal for the necessary renovations will be submitted to the district authorities for approval.
In this inspection, the BDO was accompanied by two key healthcare officials. BMOH Dr. Lipika Roy and BMOH in charge Dr. Asik Rahaman provided valuable insights into the current conditions of the hospital and the challenges faced by the staff. Their presence underscored the importance of addressing the issues at the hospital, which directly impact the quality of care provided to the community. Together, they highlighted the need for urgent action to improve the living conditions for healthcare workers, which is essential for maintaining staff morale and ensuring effective patient service.
